Other rules for staying in the program came back into effect with its return, they are: keeping dependents' school attendance, as well as vaccines up to date.

As well as mandatory prenatal care for pregnant women, and nutritional care for children up to 6 years old.

Who will be excluded from Bolsa Família?

There are more than 1.5 million Bolsa Família beneficiaries who receive the benefit irregularly! These families end up disenfranchising others who are currently in greater need of the income transfer program.

These families will be excluded from the program to open up 700,000 new beneficiaries this year. But who are these people? They are beneficiaries with income above the legal limit for the program, or with a family composition of only one member receiving the benefit.

Who can join the program?
