This March the value of Bolsa Família will be R$600, the highest ever recorded in the history of the benefit. Families with children up to 6 years old will receive R$150 per child, with the final benefit amount varying.

Bolsa Família is based on income. Anyone who works in the CLT system can receive Bolsa Família, as long as they meet the program requirements and can prove these requirements.

Families who have a monthly income per person of up to half the minimum wage, who have an income above that, but who are linked to or want a program that uses the Cadastro Único in their concessions, must register via CadÚnico.

Families that do not meet the income requirements, proof of vaccination and enrollment of children in school or that are not receiving prenatal care (in cases of pregnancy) may have their benefits suspended. Irregularities within CadÚnico are also factors for suspension of the benefit.
