Children up to 6 years old will receive extra aid in Bolsa Família
Currently, according to the new Bolsa Família rules, children up to 6 years old will benefit from an increase of R$150 over the amount of R$ 600 already paid for the benefit.
The value added per child allows the benefit to reach R$ 750. Even, in the case of two children within the family, the benefit will rise to R$ 900 and so on.
To do this, first, update your data in CadÚnico and regularize possible situations of suspension of Bolsa Família. Likewise, keep vaccination records up to date and children enrolled in school.
Don't forget to also prove your income that must fit the program requirements. Don't risk having your benefit blocked.
Who does not have a record in CadÚnico, what to do?
First, have your main documents in hand and access the federal government website. Apply for pre-registration at CadÚnico and then look for the nearest CRAS to receive guidance.
The required documents are:
- Birth certificate;
- Wedding certificate;
- CPF;
- Identity Card (RG);
- Administrative Certificate of Indigenous Birth (RANI);
- Work Card;
- Voter title;
- Utility bill for the last three months.
The family representative must be over 16 years old and have information on all residents of the residence. In the case of children up to 6 years old, proof of vaccinations and enrollment in school.
In addition, the benefit is paid preferentially to female heads of household. This is a way of ensuring dignity and respect for low-income single mothers.
New rules for receiving Bolsa Família 2023
First, the family needs to have an income per person that fits the profile of poverty or extreme poverty. All in all, this income should be up to R$ 282 per person. Values must be proven.
Following this thought, it is still necessary to have updated data in the Cadastro Único, as mentioned above, based on the government with people in vulnerable situations.
The federal government also asks families to commit to certain requirements, such as:
- keep children from 4 to 5 years old with a minimum school attendance of 60%;
- commit to maintaining 75% of minimum school attendance for young people aged 6 to 18 and for those who have not completed basic education;
- prenatal care (in the case of pregnant women);
- keep the vaccination records up to date for the entire family.
In this way, the guarantee of quality of life and commitment to the main guidelines of current management, which are health and education, are encouraged with the payment of Bolsa Família.
Finally, it is also worth noting that the government will look for irregularities with a fine-tooth comb. Families that do not fit the profile stipulated above or that do not meet the requirements may have their benefits suspended.
